Sidney Houck serves as the Director of Community Schools United with United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley. Houck has had the opportunity to serve many communities across the nation, including in Alaska, Colorado and Maryland. Houck’s passion to help create communities where children and families thrive has grown with each new opportunity to immerse herself in a unique region. After settling in Georgia, she graduated from Troy University with her Master of Social Work, actively serves as a court appointed special advocate and is a spirited children’s book enthusiast that enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs.
