Grace Bagwell

Resilient Northeast Georgia

Supporting: Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Jasper, Madison, Morgan, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Walton

Grace Bagwell arrived at the University of Georgia in 2007 for a Master of Public Administration program and currently serves as an assistant professor in the College of Public Health. Additionally, she is the Assistant Dean for Outreach, Engagement, and Equity for the Institute of Gerontology and contribute to UGA's Obesity Initiative.
Her recognitions include being a TEDxUGA speaker in 2019, receiving the Professor of the Year award in 2014, and serving as a Faculty Mentor for the Fels Institute of Government Policy Challenge. Grace also leads the Athens Wellbeing Project, where she works closely with our Resilient Northeast Georgia coalition to collaborate with community stakeholders to inform local public policy with data.
