Amanda Juarez
Resilient Middle Georgia

Amanda Juarez serves as the general point of contact for Resilient Middle Georgia and leads all aspects of operations and process management, communications and external relations, training and capacity building, coordination of initiatives, grant oversight, and budget management. Her leadership focuses on strengthening rural collaboration and advancing trauma-informed, community-based strategies that address social determinants of health and their connection to trauma and chronic stress.
At Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, Amanda is guiding the development of a survivor-led VOICES committee to help shape One Safe Place Macon—the first Family Justice Center in Middle Georgia and the largest in the state.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with highest honors from Middle Georgia State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley, as a Rural Health Innovation Scholar. She is dedicated to improving outcomes for underserved populations through equity-driven, trauma-informed approaches that foster resilience and healing, with the goal of breaking generational cycles and building healthier futures for communities.
