Jevon Gibson

Jevon Gibson is the senior advisor for Community Health Solutions (CHS). He is an experienced public health and social innovation strategist with over 20 years of professional experience designing, developing and implementing public health and social innovation efforts. Gibson’s passion for solving complex health and social issues has allowed him to lead national, statewide and local efforts to scale public health and social innovation efforts. His professional experience includes serving as director of the office of infectious diseases and director of screening and treatment with the Georgia Department of Public Health; director of coordinated youth services with the Clayton County Board of Health and; program manager for the CDC's National Center for Workplace Excellence in HIV prevention. He currently serves as CEO of the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority. Gibson earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hampton University and a master’s degree in urban studies/public administration from Old Dominion University.
