Heather M. Flowers

Heather M. Flowers is a native of Waycross, Georgia. She attended and graduated from Waycross College (Associates of Applied Science Degree of Business Administration) in 2004. Ms. Flowers was employed with Georgia Department of Corrections, Probation Division in Waycross, Georgia from 1999 until 2004 in the Administrative/Accounting Department. After she graduated in May 2004, she promoted to Probation Officer where she went on to work with Specialized Cases which included Intensive Level Probationers and Sex Offenders. In March 2005, Ms. Flowers became the Department Director of Ware County Probation Office, then in June 2009 she took the position of Probation Officer with Satilla Probation Management Services. She worked her way up to Chief Probation Officer. In September 2015, Ms. Flowers went on to become the Fatherhood Agent with Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Child Support Services. In August 2016, she was promoted to the Parental Accountability Court Coordinator with the Waycross Judicial Circuit. This was a new accountability court program to the Waycross Judicial Circuit. In July 2020, Ms. Flowers became the Legal Advocate with Magnolia House. She was then promoted to Family Justice Center Site Coordinator in November 2020. She began working with Resilient Georgia in December 2021 through the Waycross Area Resilient Georgia Partnership. Ms. Flowers brings with her twenty plus years of experience with court services, victim services, offender services, and collaborating with community partners. During her professional career, she has been active in civic and community activities. She is currently a member of the Waycross Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force and Brantley County Sexual Violence Task Force.
