Maureen McFadden

Resilient Coastal Georgia

Maureen McFadden is a licensed clinical social worker and founder of McFadden Therapy and Consulting where she is creating a trauma informed and trauma responsive community and providing therapy to teenagers and adults. Over the course of her 26-year career in social work, McFadden spent 18 years working in child protective services in Washington, DC and Savannah, Ga. McFadden has overseen multiple mental health programs for uninsured and underinsured adults and children. 


 


Previously, she worked as an adjunct professor for The Catholic University of America and also served as county director in Chatham County for the Department of Family and Children Services. McFadden was drawn to working with children and families after volunteering as a basketball coach for girls in elementary school and junior high.
