Imani Jones-Pugh
Resilient Chattahoochee Valley
Imani serves as The Manager of The Basics and Resilient Chattahoochee Valley at United Way of The Chattahoochee Valley. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Spelman College and a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbus State University. Prior to joining United Way, Imani served as a museum educator at The Columbus Museum via community outreach where she heavily focused on arts integration and bridging gaps between the museum and underserved communities.
Additionally, Imani facilitated and managed two large programs dedicated to enhancing social emotional learning through arts integration, one in partnership with the Muscogee County School Districts Pre-k program and the other with the Department of Juvenile Justice and three of its detention center sites. With a passion for fostering strong community connections and meaningful relationships, Imani looks forward to facilitating resiliency training and advocating for a mentally healthy Chattahoochee Valley.
